Time is best spent together, so we encourage visitors to continue any traditions, or even find new ones, such as a game of chess or spot of gardening, and to join us for leisurely lunches in The Great Room, coffee and freshly baked cake in the afternoon, or drinks at the bar.
We are also delighted to host celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries, and our light-filled, elegant Eden Room is the perfect place to hire for special private occasions.
Visitors are also welcome to join our programme of talks, film screenings, and group activities, and we will facilitate any outdoor excursions and holiday breaks, and can help long-distance guests with reservations at nearby hotels.
Say Hello
We provide the comforts of home, so residents have their own phones with direct lines in their rooms as long as this suits them. Friends and family are free to ring for a catch-up call at any time, and we can assist with any video calls too.
Visiting
While it is helpful to announce your visit and we do require reservations for shared meals, activities, and classes, there are no restrictions on visiting hours and you are always welcome as long as the resident is happy to receive guests.
Staying close by
Although we are unable to host visitors overnight, we can help with reservations at nearby hotels. (We do provide support for end-of-life care however, when family can of course stay in a resident’s room.)
